  • Interesting book on Athenians and Spartans

I bought this book to read more about the Spartans and, while this book does talk about them it seems to be mainly about Athens and their military, economic, and social struggles to wage war against the Spartans as well as to expand their empire. This book talks about creating naives, taking enemy cities, and some of the human costs to such efforts. I think if you want to get into this period of history 450 to 410 BC it is a good book to get.

  • Good book.

Book was clean and not written in.
