    I received the item on time. The item was as described. But it required two batteries. I was able to get the battery compartment open on the watch but not the detector. I contacted the seller and informed them of the issue, but they did not seem to understand and only offered a refund of $20. There was no way to contact the seller further to discuss the issue. eBay stepped in and agreed to refund my cost; eBay also provided a mailing label.

    This is totally false!! You were told how to open the detector but you refused. We do not warranty manufacture supplied or installed batteries it was in plain language

    Brother P-Touch PT-80 Label Maker

    I've owned and used a Brother P-Touch PT-80 Label Maker for years, but it'd seen SO much use that the key top lettering was wearing off. This replacement unit is in like-new condition, and as a bonus came with some extra tape. Product arrived on time, in excellent condition, and has already replaced my old workhorse.

    new would have been better

    Sweems there is some kind of problem with either the power button or the machine because it doesn't power on every time. I have to continually keep trying the power button or remove and reinsert the batteries. Not sure what the problem is but at least once it's on I can use it.

    Easy to Use

    This is my second PT-80 P-Touch labeler. I bought the second one to leave at my summer home. I remember that it took a little time to learn how to use it but once I got it, it was a piece of cake. I absolutely love it. It’s great for labeling canned goods or dating bags for the freezer, or in my electric panel, which breakers are for which rooms, etc.. There are endless uses. I use it all the time.
