Cannot recommend to anyone.
After installed into my computer it make a lot of noise. Not from the fan; with the old hard disk it runs very quite. I could not figure out why it happened. So I have to replace another one to see what 's going on.

The used Seagate 500 hard drive a value purchase for me
This Seagate 500 GB hard drive was purchased used, therefore I can only state the experience I had with this particular drive. For a hard drive these days it could be considered a small capacity drive but for my purposes it was fine. When the HD arrived I checked the external area for any damage or tampering (being opened) Fitted it into computer and installed Win8 worked great- no problems and still working perfect after six months. Seagate has always been my preferred brand of hard drive but always be sure you have some type of seller warranty with any used drive you purchase as there history and amount of usage is unknown.This Seagate 500 GB hard drive was purchased used, therefore I can only state the experience I had with this particular drive.
