It uses Xinput and works perfectly for steam and windows. It comes with a USBC male - USB2.0 female adapter in the box which is a nice additional touch. Uses triple A batteries.

The D pad has low latency so the controller works perfectly other than the joysticks. This joystick issue only happens on some games and not all sometimes it's quick. Might be an emulation engine issue possibly too. It's feels it a bit hard and plastic but it's okay in the hands especially for the price. It comes up at an xbox controller too but work like Sony buttons in games like Gran Turismo.
