About this product

Product Information

An intimate account of Paris-born author Phil Marcade's first ten years in the United States, where-after drifting from Boston to the West Coast and back-he wound up in New York City and became deeply immersed in the fledgling punk rock scene. With brilliant, often hilarious prose, Marcade's book is, according to revered radio personality James The Hound Marshall, historically important, invaluable in fact, but also a fun, fast, nasty read.

An excellent overall service provided! Competitively well-priced, the item arrived within the prescribed timescale and came exactly as described i.e. brand new and sealed! The seller was prompt and politely informative when responding to an order update. I'd be more than happy to shop here again and can confidently recommend using this vendor!

  • Amazing story of an amazing era.

Ive read this book 3 times since i got it about 2 weeks ago. I just dont wsnt it end and can't put it down. I loved Phillipe Marcade as the singer of The Senders but had no idea he was such a compelling writer. His story is amazing, to put it mildly. It seems he was everywhere and knew everyone. I wish hed write a dozen more books on this theme... Or on anything. I could gush about this book/author for days.
