    Battery Saver

    Easily wired, spade terminal connections, turnpot to set maximum battery discharge. Yellow LED lit when sufficient charge (relay closed), goes out out once charge level drops below set amount (relay open). Flat head screwdriver required to set, very fine tuning, recommend setting on the bench using a multimeter or some form of visual voltage display to tune before fitting. Adding spacers between the back of product and any fixing surface ensures airflow to heatsink.

    Good but not for me

    If you are looking for something to stop your battrey draining then this is fine. If you are looking for something to manage your battery level then this is no good. The reconnect voltage is 1.0 volts above the cut off voltage. Also the voltage control is tiny and difficult to set an exact voltage. Shame the product is well made and good quality.

    Works great!

    I am using this to control the discharge of my LiPo batteries down to the 'storage' voltage. Once you have set the adjustment screw at the cut-off voltage you require, fix it in place with a drop of nail varnish or enamel paint otherwise it may move if the unit is bumped or knocked about. It looks well made and robust, probably because it was made in Germany! Beware of cheap Chinese copies!
