This is my second one of these but that's a good thing...
I bought this controller as a replacement for one that has started to fail (1 port anyway) but this model is excellent, and has many hours on it. Other KVM switches were not as streamlined and durable as this model. Anyone needing a switch for 4 or less computers you could do worse than the 3304, MUCH worse. Also I have used this without using the AC adapter at all, and have done so using all connections (PS2 mouse and keyboard) and 4 computers (W7 laptop, Macmini, 2 XP desktops). Flawless, easy operation combined with attractive near indestructible design.I bought this controller as a replacement for one that has started to fail (1 port anyway) but this model is excellent, and has many hours on it. KVM Upgrade
This KVM was purchased to replace a Zonet 3004 KVM that had been used for about 20 years. This model has several advantages, with separate buttons for each computer (does not require cycling through each computer with a single button); and smaller cabling due to the serial and VGA connectors that connect to the PCs are reduced to VGA connections on the back of the KVM. The connections are also more conveniently placed on this KVM for a smaller footprint than my earlier model. Installation was simply plug and play. I did install a 1080P VGA to HMDI adapter for the video as I use a 32" Smart TV as my monitor. I also used PS/2 serial to USB adapters for keyboard and mouse connections to the PCs. I would recommend the Zonet KVM3304.This KVM was purchased to replace a Zonet 3004 KVM that had been used for about 20 years.
