• Don't Get Me Wrong, I'm a Hardcore C&C Fan....But This

Game sucked. Pure and simple. Westwood attempted to and got very greedy with milking the Command & Conquer seriers when they released it on PSX,N64 and Saturn. Lots of things that came together and worked for the PC just simply didn't for the console versions. Graphics, controls, loading times, CGI, This series was in my opinion meant to stay on the PC and nowhere else. Now that Westwood got bought out by EA Games, I hope that they made the right chooses. Pros - emulated what the PC version had already setup Cons - No Keyboard, No Mouse....Two things you totally need to play C&C, Controls were shaky, hard to move troops and build stuff, hard to scroll fast to different parts of the map, Loading times were out of this world due to the lack of processing power and memory ...

  • Command & Conquer

In my opinion, C&C is the best real time military strategy game made. Although the Ps1 version is probably better due to more button commands, and less lag time, the Sega Saturn version has a unique glitch that I have never seen in any other video game before! If you play it all the way through to the last mission with the GDI force, than build your base as to make it impregnable, than just set you paddle down and leave the game run for 12 months( yes I said 1 year )! When you pick up the paddle again, the game has taken on true A.I. and has learned to cheat! No matter what you do, the game will not let you win! It will fabricate into thin air troops, buildings, & vehicles as needed to win! Why and how this happened I don't know, but if you would like to see proof of A.I. than here it is!

  • A Good Port

If you like to play RTS and strategy games then a review means nothing. You should have this game in one form or another. That said the Saturn version is great, and works well and if you're not familiar enough with the PC version you'd probably just love it!
