    Heartwarming

This true story makes one believe in the power of mutual understanding. It brings out the best in people. I loved it and could watch it every day but want to savour it for the times when I am feeling low because if is also uplifting. Absolutely great!

  • Chess is a game that can make champions out of us all

A classic tale of over coming barriers and winning, I bought this dvd having watching the film on tv & of course its a true story, as a chess player myself for several years, trying to bring a chess club to a youth club were I volunteer, hopefully to bring the Ted Danson out of me. All in all a great family film.

  • An absolute must

This movie is great for kids who have low self-esteem and act up just to fit in or to try to prove themselves. I have shown it to a couple of friends' kids and they just love it. From watching this movie, my 6 year old now beats me at chess and she teaches all her friends when they come to the house. Love it!!

  • Very inspiring movie!!!

This is the movie that will make you feel good once you finish watching it. Chess is not a just a game, but a tool that can be use to improve one's life.
