About this product

Product Information

Following the lead of other big-name game publishers who began in the industry as arcade machine manufacturers, Konami brings six of its coin-op classics to the Game Boy Advance with this release. Similar to Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits or Namco Museum, Arcade Advanced features accurate emulations of six popular games from the arcade heyday of the early '80s. Included are Frogger, Gyruss, Rush'n Attack, Scramble, Time Pilot, and Yie Ar Kung-Fu. While graphics and gameplay are designed to faithfully reproduce those in the originals, sound effects are enhanced, multiplayer modes have been added, and new levels are included to freshen the experience even for veterans of the classics.

You don't find too many deals where a Dreamcast game is reasonably priced and in good enough condition to play without skipping. The disc is in good condition and the case with artwork and instructions is in very good condition which was predominantly the reason I made the purchase.I have a perfect copy of Zombies Revenge but it was missing Instructions.Great Description , excellent packaging and fast shipping are all part of my AAA+++ rating for this seller.

    Great collection of Konami games.

For those looking for the rare Yie Air in Kung Fu, this is the only version out there worth playing. The gameplay is decent and very similar to the actual arcade version.

  • Blast From the Past with a touch of the futture

Sorry I am just not a video game junky of the future... but of the past. Really enjoyed playing Frogger (Atari 2600) and Gyruss (C=64). Never played the other games in this collection. Playing on the Nintendo DS may make my 9 year old boy sit up and take notice but that little touch screen and whatever you call the little navigation keypad on the left side do not do much for me. Give me my old fashioned Joystick controller and my 13" Commodore CRT and watch me go to LaLa Land! Okay it's nice to be able to take them where-ever I feel like playing. And it is great hearing my son say "Dad, you know it's my DS" ("sorry son you are still grounded from video games") Why did I ever donate that C=64? That's about it for my review. • Arcade classics are still classica on GBA

Good game. Why not excellant? well I mean it is a cart with games from 1981. You know the games that really never ended. The whole point of playing them was to get the high score and brag about it to every other star wars t-shirt, striped knee high tube sock wearin kid in the arcade. But they were fun, otherwise you'd sit in your basement playing D&D....oh wait. Anyway, my favorite is FROGGER. A perfect transfer to the gameboy. Good clean 1980sriffic action. Dont know if newer gamers can really appreciate it though like us Dukes of Hazzard, A-team, Airwolf lovin 80s kids.

  • The title is as perfect

I have enjoyed this game so much because it takes me back to when my children were kids and we ran a game room. It was great and they could play all they wanted on anything they wanted but they had favorites and my daughters and mine was Frogger. My son was good on so many that I don't know what to do there. Anyway, thanks for the games and believe me we enjoy them. I'm an old lady now but I still enjoy games.
