This ABC show quickly established itself as an intriguing sci-fi thriller with a unique twist. Set in Florida, the show begins with a terrifying storm threatening the inhabitants of a small town. After the weather passes, U.S. Park Ranger Russell Varon (Eddie Cibrian) tries to pick up the pieces, but also gets some startling revelations from his daughter who believes that she has seen some mysterious lights hovering by the water as the storm raged. At first, no one pays her any attention. But then the post-storm events take some very strange turns, and Veron is forced to listen to his daughter and to begin investigating some of the eerie occurrences that beset the town. Similar in feel to the various INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS movies, INVASION is packed full of mystery and suspense. The entire first season is collected here.

    Invasion ... a fantastic sci fi series !!!

    Invasion was a fantastic sci-fi TV show set in Florida. The plot was similar to that of classic sci fi movie "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers". In the aftermath of a hurricane, lights in the sky fall to earth and people are missing (later to return ... but changed). It was great viewing with dramatic storylines, tension, shocks and surprises. Sadly, however, the show was pulled and the second series was never made ... (mainly as a rsult of the actors changing channels, contracts and being involved in other long running TV projects). There was a massive internet campaign to change this and rumours of a new series are starting to surface ... it doesn't in any way spoil the enjoyment of Invasion ... and the complete series one box set is highly recommended !!!     A Great Sci-Fi Mystery Drama

    Invasion is a great series - mysterious, exciting, funny - and I would highly recommend it! It's well-paced and well-observed, very different, and the actors (even the kids) are excellent. I decided to buy the DVD as it was recommended to me based on my previous purchases (ie. sci-fi, fantasy, drama DVDs), so if you're a fan of shows like Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, you'll probably like this too! My only complaint is that it's a real shame there's only one of season of Invasian, because it definitely should have been continued.

    Invasion is gripping and exciting

    Heard alot about this tv series off my partner so thought i would give it a go and bought the box set.....all i can say is its fabulous. It keeps you on the edge of your set and it becomes compulsive viewing from episode one. A must for anyone really regardless of age, my kids enjoyed this as much as i did. Shame there was not a second series thou but at least we had the first
