    21st Century Tape Recorder

This shoebox type cassette recorder is amazing. Not only is it battery powered as well as with a traditional connection to an electrical outlet, but you may also use a usb cord for both charging the device, and recording your material onto a tape in this manner. This is for the serious musician or researcher. Highly recommended.

you get what you pay for

It shouldn't be a suprise, but the sound quality on this machine is terrible. Even with headphones plugged in, the output is criminally flat. Attractive design, easy to use. But what's the point if it sounds like a tin can?

  • Good product for the money.

Used it to record in a large hall with the line-in port directly from an amp. Voice quality is excellent. Buttons are a little iffy and don’t always stay down on the first push.

  • Plays well

Records me singing and playing guitar very well. Plus I can pug my auxiliary cord in to the line out port and connect it to my amp, so I can play along with myself. Gets pretty loud as well.

  • disappointed in quality

Plastic, soft and last touch like a toy for small children. - When recording, it records more noise from the tape recorder itself than the music or voice being recorded. - it is incredibly light and when you hold it in your hand you have the impression that it is a mock-up empty inside.
