    Not an improvement over the older model.

    I bought these to replace my ageing G930 headset as the battery has started failing. The soundfield is not as rich and deep as the older G930. The microphone sound is also thin. Others say the timbre is not as deep and mellow as the previous headset. Also, the LED that indicates you are muted or not on the boom is impossible to see while wearing the headset. The controlls are also smaller and harder to find, though I am sure I will get used to them. It is comfortable enough. The battery life is good. However, I have since ordered a replacement battery and earpads to retrofit the G930s and bring them back to life. I find it disappointing when products get worse, not better.
