I've heard god works hard, but I think this seller works harder. I got a USPS notification the same day as I bought this, the next day it shipped, and a day or two after that the pencil sharpener arrived. It was packaged so well I'm pretty sure I could've dropped the box off the roof and it'd still work. Once I got it out and plugged it in (after admiring it's perfect shape despite age), it worked flawlessly. I'm not sure I've had sharper pencils, and I'm extremely happy with it.

There is a saying---You get what you pay for__ It turned out this purchase proves that saying. The remote was very well packed ---but it was ina very nasty condition . Both front and back had areas of a sticky residue -This finally removed with lacquer thinner. The seller should be ashamed to list an item in this condition .

    good buy....this is our 3rd one,they last forever

    good sound,ample capacity,its essentially similar to the vx 516. We use this to drive our big 1950s hi fi speakers,and run a variety of inputs thru it, dvd,cd,tv, record changer, etc. To have our old one just checked out, meant shipping it to NJ,and 75.00 upfront charge for repair details...this one we have now cost less than a repair estimate

    Pioneer receivers last very long time. Great value!

    This is my third Pioneer receiver in 15 years. I love them so much because they last a very long time. This particular receiver has 6.1 channel surround that really sounds realistic, a reasonable number of connections and is fairly simple to use. Highly recommended.

    Pioneer VSX 515-K 6.1 channel 660 Watt Receiver

    I bought this Pioneer receiver three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive receiver. It has a loudness control button, basic home theatre setup. The output is perfect for carrying the sound around a large house and the remote has a pretty good control functions. My only complaint is that the top cover has some big dents and they didn't get mention in the ad. Other receiver I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the receiver if you're on a budget.

    Pioneer VSX 515 6.1 Receiver

    Pioneer has led the industry in adding affordable features to both their entry level and high end audio home theater equipment and this is just that. In the 200.00 + - dollar retail price range this is a full featured piece of gear with Pioneer sound that is known for little or no coloring in their audio reproduction A+ for the money!
