Following in the footsteps of WIN A DATE WITH TAD HAMILTON and THE PRINCESS DIARIES, THE PRINCE AND ME is a modern-day fairy tale with a feminist twist. Julia Stiles stars as Paige Morgan, a hardworking, pre-med senior at the University of Wisconsin. A local farm girl, she has little interest in romance and is happiest when dreaming of having a future career working for Doctors Without Borders. All of that changes when she meets Edvard (Luke Mably), the crown prince of Denmark, who is posing as a run-of-the-mill foreign exchange student named Eddie in order to escape the prying eyes of the Danish paparazzi and his princely duties. Without the support of his royal mother (Miranda Richardson) and father (James Fox), Eddie takes a job at the bar where Paige works. Despite a disastrous first meeting, Paige slowly succumbs to Eddie's charms and over time the two opposites attract and find true love. However, the romance ends abruptly when Eddie's father becomes ill and Prince Edvard must return home to take over the throne. His true identity revealed, Paige follows him to Denmark and is swept off her feet by the unbelievable life of the royal family. However, when Edvard proposes to her, Paige is forced to choose between her down-to-earth dreams of becoming a doctor and her true love for Edvard in this new millennium Cinderella story.

The Prince and Me (DVD, 2004)
This is an enjoyable film about a spoiled playboy prince from Denmark who decides to attend the University of Wisconsin after seeing a "Wet and Wild T-Shirt movie". Paige Morgan is from a home dairy family, and "Eddie" is the Crown Prince of Denmark. He is totally incognito and is instantly smitten with her. In a strange turn of events, he is invited by her to spend the holidays with her family, and they inadvertedly wind up falling in love. Then one day the tabloid photographers find him and she finds out his HRH status. Her medical career and everything else gets put into jeopardy, and she is mad because he never told her the truth, and tells him to get lost. Eventually realizing that she is in love with him, Paige travels to Denmark to see him. When she arrives, she is amazed to find ... Title is fine.
Cute movie. Interesting, easy to follow. Movie a family can watch together and not be afraid indecent scenes will pop up. It was refreshing. I like Julia Stiles and think she always does a good job at whatever she plays in. It was my first time to see anything Luke Mably had done and he played his part well. The movie kept you guessing all the way through it and you never really knew how it would turn out.I'm glad I bought it.Cute movie. Interesting, easy to follow. Movie a family can watch together and not be afraid indecent scenes will pop up. It was refreshing. I like Julia Stiles and think she always does a good job at whatever she plays in. Love is in the air!
I adore this movie. It's a classic love story with a few twists that with have you both laughing and biting your nails. Younger, viewers might not catch certain adult humor and pick up on a few things that aren't quite fitting for their age group. However, it's a film the family can enjoy.

Awesome Movie!
I absolutely love this movie. I wish that Julia Stiles would have been in the other Prince and me movies that would have just topped it all off for me! I love that it is a down to earth person in the movie and someone that you may be able to relate to! I cannot ever watch this movie enough and when I realized that I lost my first copy I just absolutely had to buy it again!
