After nearly a decade, the virtual grand-daddy of all fantasy role-playing series returns to the home computer with another episode. This is the eighth release in one of the very oldest and most respected series of RPG's. As might be expected, Wizardry 8 is set in the familiar universe of the series and picks up the story soon after the somewhat ambiguous close of Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant. This eighth episode is the first to be presented with fully-rendered 3D characters and environments.<br><br>Other additions include a new 3D-based combat system, as well as new skills, classes, and spells. Wizardry 8 is designed to be immediately playable for newcomers to the series while also remaining deep and challenging to veterans. Characters can be created from scratch, customized from pre-generated models included in the release, or imported from Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant or Wizardry Gold. Online play is not supported for Wizardry 8, allowing game designers to focus on the single-player experience.

Wizardry VIII PC RPG Game
I like the game, i like the spell choices, the ease of leveling. The racial and Proffesion choices. The graffics are okay, i cant complain. I also like some of the creatures. The voices are nice...but alittle redundant. I like the combat mode. And i like the ease of totally personalizing each party member, however its alot if info to remember...armor, spells, talents, professions, ect. However a few things I do not like. First person view. Cannot ever see your party. Have to have the disk inserted into the computer to load the game, but doesnt have to remain to play. Not able to clearly see the HP of the enemy. Overall the game is challanging, but so far not hard. Overall i like the game! I chose to buy this game because i completed the demo, and liked it. I purchased it ... It's everything as advertised. The best RPG I've ever seen. Nothing else has measured up to the depth of play or charactor developement. This multi-level game has it all including great graphics. I wish someone would come out with another game with all the features included in this one.

The game was actually bought for a Christmas Present, however because I had bought another item and it was very version I was worried to not open it and see if it was OK, the package had a lot to be desired, in fact Disk were just moving around in the box, which I was lucky did not cause damage. The game was what it was expected to be
