Very strong reader. Did use a nook. This is a better reader. Has the larger 32 gig storage, and is smooth between storing and loading. Makes a good transition from Day to Night brightness. Lightweight and did purchase a case that is good to add. Wanted less big brother watching so did not go down the scamazon path. Glad I found the Kobo and will stay in this group
