Paul Newman double feature DVD
It is great to get two titles one - disc - the extras on a single title are missing, but typically they are not watched more than once. The quality of the transfers from film to video on both features was very good when viewed on a 25" CRT television. Both titles were masked it the letterbox format.

One of Paul Newman's Best!
This has to be, in my opinion of course, one of Paul Newman's best performances. It's not a fancy movie with lots of action, it's a quiet movie, well written, and well acted by a star cast that includes Jessica Tandy, Melanie Griffith, Bruce Willis and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Not having been able to find it in stores, I was thrilled when I found it on Ebay.

Had seen this movie, Nobody's Fool, some time ago but wanted to own it. Many layers of interesting human relationships. Father and son is the best. How to deal with alzheimers also good. Fat Man and Little Boy was an added plus. It just came with the other. Love Cusack especially in the dance scene. Learn a bit of WWII history while being entertained. Just watched Tom Hank's "The Pacific" prior to getting this. Nice combo. Nobody's Fool
Absolute classic Newman. As ever, the eyes are as vocal as the patented voice. There are too many cuts (director issue). I would rather see the longer takes of the many fine characters and talents in this picture, but nothing can detract from the presence Mr. Newman brings to the screen - big or small. A delightful picture.
