I found this book full of useful techniques and wise words. I think as a first time parent it is important not to follow this book to the word as it is extremely important to get to know your babies natural cycles and to let your motherly instincts grow! I do love the book but I'm glad I didn't read it until my baby was 8 weeks old (he was already sleeping 8 hours). I got the book to understand more and to know more about routines.
Great book, Tizzy Hall's routine is easy to follow and also includes introducing solids routines and routines for twins. It isn't for everyone, but using it as a guide as opposed to following it strictly , helped us
