I love Dr. Frankl's work.
To be short and sweet, we here in the western world sometimes lack a reason for living, a meaning to our lives, or a purpose for carrying on. There's no need for those feelings, but they run so deep that the concept the we CAN have a purpose or meaning is hard to believe.
If you wonder why you're alive, or what you can do to make a mark before you leave this earth, or want to make sure the young ones in your family have a reason for living and doing great things, read this. Oh no, it's not very heavy....oh yes it is! Be prepared to look into your life, your existence, influences on your ideas, and what you have really wanted all along that got buried under everything else.
Use this book to make everything out of the time you have left and the influence you have over your loved ones to find their meaning and purpose and rock it.
I'm disappointed in myself that I hadn't found out about this man's work much sooner, but believe me I am taking advantage of what I've learned so far and will read all his books within the next few months.
