Worked great on an old, discontinued Reflex 6000 AL mountain bike

Requires no separate wrench. I don't understand why the smaller type of crank puller, which does require a wrench, seems to be more popular. I used this on a square spindled lower bracket, and this tool fit the precise center, and with just enough clearance, worked extremely smoothly. P.S. Take it from me, the gear puller probably won't work. Aluminum is soft.

  • A bicycle restorer's must-have!

I used this tool to remove an old crank from a vintage mountain bike. I also used a rubber mallet since i need more torque because it is really stuck in there. I wish it had a longer handle for more leverage since it is also used on vintage bikes. It's easy to use and sturdy and is backed up with a lifetime warranty from Park Tool.

  • Park Tool Crank Puller got the job done quick and easy.

This Park Tool CCP-22 Crank Puller for Square Tapper Cranks worked like a charm. Removed the crank with no problems and proceeded with the replacement crankset in a jiffy. Don't purchase a cheaper crank puller. Go with Park Tool and get the job done right.

  • Great product but a little pricey.

Much prefer this type of tool with the handle built in as opposed to the ones you thread in and then use a wrench to turn.

  • The right tool.

After trying other ways and tools to separate the cranks and suffering indescribable pains and difficulties in doing it, using a tool well designed for the specific job makes the whole process a pleasure and surprisingly easy. Small and powerful tool.
