Threw thermostat in garbage and let seller know he didn't own or test the thermostat before selling it. Seller insisted on returning defective product before returning money - my time is valuable and spending a half hour for shipping, $12 for postage to get back $30 is not worthwhile. Seller needs to either test his products, or list "condition unknown" on his ads.
