Love the product! The Lock feature is a joke though.
I bought the product for the lock feature. However, if the board if pulled off and the batteries removed, or the factory reset button is pushed it will cancel the code out. The thermostat is in a open area that anyone can change the settings. I found a way around it with the (7) day programming. I simply used the periods in the day (morning, day, etc.) to have the setting go back to where it was. The tendency was late at night around 11pm the thermostat would be put to full blast. I allowed them to to that and simply programmed the "night" to kick on at 12:30am, cutting the temp back to where it was. They have yet to complain since LOLVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

This product just gets an average rating. The plus side is it is very compatible with many systems. The documentation is adequate. The programming functions are convenient. The downside is the display. Most thermostats are in hallways thus this model is difficult to read. The display should be better designed. Very happy with Purchase
I was looking for a thermostat that had a lock-out feature and came across this one. At first I was not sure about it since I had never heard of Lux. It was very easy to install which was a plus. It came with all the hardware that is needed to install. What I like the most is the user interface. It was very easy to understand and I almost didnt need the manual to get it started. The basic setup is straight forward, it is so easy that if I need to adjust anything later I wont need the manual. The manual that came with it is just for the basic features, for my purpose I needed to know how to use the lock-out feature in which I had to download the full manual from the internet. It did not bother me to much but others might be put off by this. I dont like to have a lot of paper around so having manuals ect. electronically is fine with me.
