    Great basic printer for text

    It is a good printer that just works, no fuss, no paper jams and no complaining about being low on magenta when trying to print black and white. Don't expect to print high resolution photos, it will not do that. It can print photos, but it takes a long time and they are very low resolution. This printer is really best for printing documents and stuff with written text as opposed to graphics and for that it is perfect. it uses ribbons instead of ink, and you can get ribbons for under $10, and they last a LONG time. Downsides: It is loud, It takes a long time to print anything other than plain text, if using standard paper, you have to load each sheet in manually (although this is not an issue if you use continuous tractor feed paper) Over all, it is a great simple printer that just ...
