    Happy with results but not easy to use.

    My mare was having trouble walking on hard frozen ground after having her shoes pulled for the winter. I researched the problem and Venice Turpentine was recommended. It is very sticky so it stays on the hoof sole and the brown paper stays in place (avoid putting it on the frog). I saw results after 5 days.

    Very good for hardening and antiseptic actions

    My farrier recommended Venice Turpentine for our horses' feet when the weather turned wet and their hooves became soft. Painting the soles and edges of the feet just three days a week for two or three weeks made a significant difference. The farrier also mentioned the antiseptic properties to keep bacteria from causing problems in the nicks and chips on the hooves between trimmings. I always keep a can of Venice Turpentine on hand.
