    Amazing seller. Thank you for shipping the rare / discontinued puzzle carefully. It was sent in a cardboard box, with styrofoam squishies, and a plastic bag wrapping around the puzzle box to protect it from water damage or transit crush damage. I really appreciate all of these precautions! It was a long transit to Canada, but the puzzle box was in perfect condition. When I received the puzzle, I built it the same evening: the puzzle is complete, just as described. (I’m not reselling it though)

    A most touching story...

    This is an amazing book written by the author for children. However, most children will not appreciate or fully understand the sadness, humor, and themes contained. There are updated translations of this book but Katherine Woods did the original translation from French to English and, in my opinion, the only translation. "And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye." There is no way to improve on such a translation.

    A children's classic

    It's a beautiful book with great illustrations made more relevant having seen the original Little Prince sketches. Few children's authors have story-telling and artistic talent. The book is more impressive when you know the author is responsible for the text and illustrations. Sadly, this was his final book as he left New York to join the Free French Air Force and was shot down and died in 1944.

    A magical tale; buy it in any readable condition...

    The standard questions do not really apply in an item like this.As a used item, some many years old, each purchase will be unique and show varying amounts of use and care. The content of the book will always be wonderful. It's a "hard to find in good condition" book, as newer translations are in print. But in my opinion they are far less charming than the origonal English from French version. This copy in particular is in very good condition, and I am so glad it was listed for sale. I first read it when I was many decades younger, and still love giving it as a gift to those I know will resonate to it.

    This used copy is exactly what I wanted to replace my husbands lost copy. The little not inside in pencil written by a child saying it was her favorite book made it even more special.

    The 1943 English translation,.. The BEST translation!

    Wonderful book. Very happy to find it in the English translation from 1943. Though other translations have come along, this is the one that, for me, carries the story best. the well known "It is only with the heart that one sees rightly,..." quotation appears in this version. That alone is reason enough to purchase this edition.
