    If you need a basic Internet switch, this is the one to get

    I purchased this switch to add a few more ports to my home network. Installation is 100% plug and play. I had the switch up and running, doing what it was designed to do, in less than 5 minutes! I would recommend this switch and ANY Netgear product. My last Netgear router ran for about 25 years before I upgraded. It is still 100% capable of another 25 years. I anticipate that this switch will provide the same reliable performance.

    Works well with no setup necessary

    Very simple setup. Plugin power, connect to router or modem, connect additional devices. Now you have your other devices wired to the internet. No fiddling with admin pages or anything else. It does a great job and does not overheat or reset, more reliable then most consumer routers.
