    Smoothest cutting, easy to handle circular saw.

    Have only used my Rigid battery powered circular saw a couple of times but it is without doubt the smoothest cutting, easy to handle circular saw I ever held in my hand. Heartily recommend it to others.

    Good product that works as expected.

    The product is good. It seemed a bit under powered when I used it without the blade in place. When I used it on a 2"x1" piece of wood, it went through it like a hot knife through butter. It was heavier than I expect without the battery, but not much more than a corded version. If you are going to be doing ProSumer work in areas without power, this is a good option especially if you have brought into the Rigid 18v product line already. My only wish is if I had purchased a Brushless version ... just for long term maintenance issues that may come up.

    Good for the price, for medium duty cuts.

    You'll definitely want a very sharp blade, and a 4Ah battery that is fully charged, as this needs the most power possible (the bigger batteries seem to work better on these higher draw devices), which isn't nearly as noticeable on a something such as a battery powered drill. This can cut through 2x4s fine, but don't expect this to perform like a high-end plug-in circular saw. But, these are very light weight, and quite handy, and much more quiet than plug-in saws.

    Gen 5 circular saw

    I have about 10 Ridgid lithium 18 volt tools. So I wanted this for my attic project. This saw is a beast, I'm very impressed with it. I was able to rip 15 3/4" OSB sheets on 1 battery. After all of the cutting, 15 sheets and 24 2x4's it only used 2 batteries. I really like this saw and would recommend it. It's a little heavier than my old porter cable saw, but it's definitely worth it.

    Ridgid 7 1/4" 18 volt saw

    I used my nephews saw one time and was impressed with the overall performance so I bought this one becuse it was an exceptional deal. Only down fall is that Ridgid will not allow me to regester it because it was an open box item and it wasn't purchased through Home Depot or another authorized dealer. Great saw to have and works cut about anything you would need to cut.
