    Works great

    This was a great find...they sell for well over $100 used. You may need to go out and find the software once you get everything setup. My second monitor was lagging, but a quick visit to the manufacturers website I corrected the problem. Also, make sure if your monitor is VGA to grab a converter (or double check to see if your monitor actually has a dvi port and get a dvi cable)

    Great Buy!

    I like to have my home office setup mirroring my work setup. It makes it easier when I work from home. My job switched to buying the current model of this dock. I had to return the other HP docking station we previously used, but they weren't going to give us any of the Targus docks for hoe use. I searched online for the current model, and knew straight away that I wasn't paying the high price. I was amazed when I found this model. It's the exact same thing, without a bunch of the branding stickers. I'm so happy with it. I didn't have to install new drivers, but did need to adjust display settings on my laptop. But,at the price I paid, who cares?

    It did expand my Monitors

    Had been looking for a docking station so I could add 2 monitors to my laptop and this particular one was a really good value. On the plus side, it works perfectly with my monitors after installing the drivers from the Targus site... the down side is that none of the USB ports work on the unit. I did call the Targus service line to see if they could help fix the problem, but it was a no-go. All in all, I am pleased because I am at least able to expand my monitors. It would have a 5 star rating if it had not been for this USB issue.

    Good choice if you need to dock multiple laptops that are different brands. You wil need to get the drivers for this dock online and get creative with video out, it only has DVI and HDMI out.

    For laptop users that need to have external monitors

    This unit needs to have USB 3.0 support on the laptop in order to get full benefit of the external video capability. Just make sure to ask what you are paying for and that the seller provides everything that should come with the unit as the power adapter and cables cost an arm and a leg if you can find them. My NEW unit was missing a couple of items to make it fully functional. For those using Windows 10, Microsoft's latest updates removes some of the functionality provided by the DisplayLink software.
