    Very Good AP

    I bought this AP used here on eBay to use in an upstairs room of a barn with metal siding and a metal roof. Having POE capability was also important. I have it wall mounted to a box which houses the Ethernet cable. I'm powering it using an Engenius POE module which is mounted downstairs next to the switch. Using the stock "auto" settings for the wireless I can easily use the AP across the road inside of my house which is at least 100ft away from the barn which is again metal. I've since turned down the power first trying 20db(100mw) but now down to 11 which should be about 15mw. This gives great coverage throughout the 36x48 barn upstairs and downstairs. The AP looks attractive and the blue lights which can be turned off don't seem overly distracting. So far I've had it running for ...
