Synopsis
Seven Doors to Islam reveals the religious worldview and spiritual tradition of the world's one billion Muslims. Spanning the breadth of Islamic civilization from Morocco to Indonesia, this book demonstrates how Muslims have used the literary and visual arts in all their richness and diversity to communicate religious values. Each of the seven chapters opens a door that leads progressively closer to the very heart of Islam, from the foundational revelation in the Qur'an to the transcendent experience of the Sufi mystics. However, unlike most studies of Islam, which see spirituality as the concern of a minority of mystical seekers, Seven Doors demonstrates its central role in every aspect of the Islamic tradition., Seven Doors to Islam reveals the religious worldview and spiritual tradition of the world's one billion Muslims. - c***r (555)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseMost importantly, the book condition was as specified. Many thanks for that. Also, the book was delivered promptly from the USA to the UK. Also, the price was reasonable for an out-of-print book. However, one point of constructive criticism: the packaging could have been much better, in order to better protect the book in transit. The book was sent in a bubble-wrap mailer only, with no cardboard to give the package greater strength. Thank you very much for any consideration of my feedback.
- 3***6 (116)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe mail service absolutely ravaged the top binding corner of the book, which really was a disappointment. It’s not your fault as a seller, but please consider that a book in a snug envelope is very unsafe rather than a slightly larger envelope of the same strength. It’s not going to affect your rating. I will say nothing. But please consider this in the future- Post is treated poorly and customer service is poor with mail, so it’s necessary to ship properly, especially if you sell books. :)Pistis Sophia: The Gnostic Tradition of Mary Magdalene, Jesus, and His Disciples (#116542842875)
- 3***4 (133)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe shipping was super fast, the packaging kept my book safe and the item is accurately described in the advertisements. The price is awesome. The book is a great condition. An awesome seller 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
