    a marvelous series with fine acting

    a great series about the final days of the British Raj and the role Mountbatten played in bringing it about a fine study of the early days of Indian independence Nicol Williamson is marvelous as Lord Louis Mountbatten leading a fine cast of the best actors around a first rate production

    Very engaging, well acted movie

    The acting is classy and just great even though the actor looks nothing like Mountbatten - he did a great job nonetheless, along with the other cast members. Ian Richardson as Nehru is riveting as Nehru. The movie is riveting as a whole.
