    A Diary that Doesn't Make You "Wish You Were Here"

    This is a diary of a man who actually came across many of the people who would become major elements of Hitler's regime, in his daily comings and goings, who was not enamored but abhorred by what he observed. A fascinating snapshot of life for many typical Germans in the lead-up to horror and war.
