I was skeptical about this item but IT'S AMAZING!!! I'm surprised it's so cheap considering how well it works! Put this on your night stand, fill "tank" w/cubes, ICE WATER & FROZEN filter and let it rip! I started out with no covers, then a sheet and then a blanket! I use a special fan with the CHILL device to circulate the air thru out my room. It's like a COOL, OCEAN BREEZE caressing you! You MUST, however, learn to adjust to the "white" noise! No problem for me, but be prepared! 5/2024

Would not recommend
I really wanted it to work, unfortunately it doesn't at all. Positive: Looks OK, night lights around the unit look nice. Will blow a bit cooler air in the first 15-20 minutes at most. Negative: Very noisy fan even at the lowest setting. No matter what you do, soaking and freezing the filter, filling up reservoir with crushed ice and ice cold water it does not cool off even a smallest bedroom a bit in just a 90 degrees outside weather. Tried it on the working desk just in front of me and noticed that unit blows same temperature air just after 20-30 minutes (even with crushed ice still not melted). I don't see a value even at $30 that I have paid. Would not recommend.

Arctic Air Pure Chill Max
I was doubtful at first, but it does work. Not super cool air, but cold air does blow out. I was disappointed in one factor of it, and that is that it must be plugged in. My primary reason for purchasing it, was in the event the power went off, leaving us with no air conditioning, we still could have cold air blowing out of it. This factor might be something the manufacturer should think about. However, it still is a good deal for the money and I do recommend it.

The product was defective, and doesn't work. I would love to get a refund or replacement, but I'd be surprised to recieve either.
My Arctic Air cooler only worked for about a week, and then it just turned off on its own, and I couldn't get it to restart. I've tried disconnecting it then re-connecting it several times, but to no avail. Needless to say, I am beyond disappointed and sad to see my money was totally wasted. I feel like I've been had.

It is not what I expected.
The unit does not cool anything. I soaked the filter with water then put it in the freezer for a day. Then I put cold water in the reservoir tank. Used the unit in a room 10 x 10 and it did not change the room’s temperature at all. The unit’s light can not be turn off and it is too noisy.

It doesn't put out cold air like advertised!!! They built it up like it's the king. It's not. Even with the filter frozen cold air doesn't last as long as advertised. I bought 2 of them. Better then nothing if you want to stick your face in it.

Craps out after just a few months of normal use.
Took excellent care of it. Read all instructions. Worked under normal indoor situations several hours a day for a month. Unplugged it and drained it for when not needed for several weeks. Set it up today to reuse it. Light comes on but fan will not work.Had this product for approximately 3 months and it crapped out. Unacceptable. Do not recommend.
