quality product and works well
Worked quite well, did require some time to figure out how to convert existing plumbing to accommodate new check valve but in the end didn't require any purchase of other plumbing fittings for the snug fit to my new pond pump.

Not made for right connection
The item does not have the right fittings to be compatible with the aquascapes skimmer that it is supposed to fit. Be prepared to do a lot of work to make it work.
