        The Australian Women's Weekly Slow Cooker-The Complete Collection

        I bought a secondhand copy of the Women's Weekly Slow Cooker recipe book which is a comprehensive collection of two hundred recipes. It is the original hard cover copy and although mine had minor damage, that doesn't affect its use, I was able to purchase it at a reduced price. It is a beautiful book, which I will value, and eventually pass it on to my grandson, who does lots of slow cooking.

        Lots and lots of lovely choices

        I have spent many hours of reading all the recipes, there are so many to choose from. I did find when I chose to cook the same recipe, for eg, Apricot Chicken, on the shorter programme- Stew- ( 2hrs), the food was delicious and full of flavour. The same recipe on the longer programme-casserole-(8hrs), the flavour was less intense and the dish had more liquid through. On a whole I do love the "Slow Cooker", recipe book, I will have lots of fun trying all the recipes.
