Returned This Item in Favour of ProAction Model
It will only shred continuously for about 5-10 minutes, then requires a cooling down period of 20-30 minutes. It is very quiet when shredding and can shred documents with staples. The solid plastic collector is relatively flimsy.I prefer the metal waste paper basket type of the earlier ProAction models, which is what i bought when I returned this item.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A heavyweight with disappointing features
It is well made and creates a favourable impression BUT when you read the instructions they do it no favours. The main contributor to this downside is that you can only use it for a period of 3 minutes continuous and the maximum number of A4 sheets is 40-60 per day. I always save up my paper for shredding in a large plastic bin so that it is worthwhile setting it up. The important thing is to read these instructions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replacement Shredder
