    Buy it. You'll be glad you did.

    This little tool is amazing! It has a ton of digital gauges, trip computers, and a performance computer for drag racing. It's even an OBD II scan tool. It’s capable of indicating your fuel pump pressure, if your vehicle is designed to provide it. However, most aren't. You can read your transmission fluid temperature, by programming an x-gauge. You name it and it will probably have it. It takes a while to set it up and get use to using it. There are You Tube videos showing how to program the X-Gauges.

    Works as it should

    I like how customizable it is and how small it is. The only complaint I have is the only mounting method included is Velcro. A simple base or windshield suction cup sure would be nice but overall, it's working fine and has been useful.

    Works Well On My Toyota Rav4

    Bought this to read the transmission fluid temperature on my Toyota Rav4. I does the job great plus gives many other readings as well. If you are a DIY car guy, this Scanguge II is a good item to have in your tool box.

    Excellent for saving fuel

    This gauge is essential to me. It, of course, displays the engine code but I almost never use that function, I use it to display real-time readings my dash gauges don't supply. I use MPH (displayed in digital), coolant temp, average MPG, and current MPG. I drive 20,000 miles a year so fuel economy is important. Using the ScanGauge I can easily change how I'm driving to give the best MPG - just easing off the pedal can boost it 5 or more MPG without changing speed. Knowing the exact coolant temperature is, of course, important so the engine doesn't overheat, but on the other side, it's important not to start driving until the engine reaches a minimum temp, especially in cold weather. You have four different readings you can set it to monitor, basically any data your vehicle's computer ...

    superb little monitor

    I've had one of these in in my sports car to supplement the dash gauges in 2009. It has worked perfectly for 12 years now and gives lots of information not available through idiot lights. When I bought a new Ford diesel truck I realized that the dashboard display would not show such things as oil life percentage (it only tells you "change oil soon" and "change oil now" with no information on what that means), soot load of the exhaust and more importantly when the regeneration cycle was running. Since those items are must know for me (the diesel will apparently not run properly when it calculates 0% oil life and the engine efficiency drops when it is regenerating). The x-gauge feature allowed me to set up those gauges as well as a numerical output for the turbo boost rather than the vague ...
