    Surprisingly extremely fast shipping!!! Item was scheduled to be delivered in about over a week from the purchase date and It was at my doorstep in only 3 days (from the UK to Los Angeles!). Decksaver cover was packaged pretty well too, considering that it was only in cardboard and bubblewrap. But these decksavers can withstand anything anyway. Item is brand new as described.     A good quality and excellent priced cartridge

    I am very pleased with this purchase. I read other reviews online before I bought it. A good valued and good sounding cartridge. Very easy to set up and easy to align with it's square head. I have other cartridges ortofon and stanton but this one holds it own on sound quality.

    Goldring E3 Violet...What an incredible stylus/cartridge combo from Goldring

    Spectaclarĺy good.... After using an Ortofon 2M Red for well over 12 months I had become disillusioned withe bass response...with my CD's giving more solid bass than my turntable.. Following 'a lot' of research and listening to cartridges in a local HiFi studio I chose the Golring E3 and immediately the sound balance was better THE BASS WAS BACK.. I am still in the 'run in' period and there are still improvements becoming apperent. The Goldring E3 is IMO absolutely unbeatable at the "retail price point of £109.00" and with discounts readily available it's a "no brainer" The E3 can also be easily upgraded by retro fitting an "E4 'nude' Stylus for even higher quality sounds..

    Brilliant Cartridge

    A brilliant cartridge. Bought to replace a Rega Bias and it's a massive improvement. Easy to install, lovely balanced and natural sound, and it tracks brilliantly when set up correctly. Best budget cartridge I've used by far, more entertaining than the Rega and has more warmth than the sterile and sometimes harsh Ortofon 2M red. The only reservation is that the Goldring's sensitivity is quite low so you need an amp with a decent power output so you can get some volume from it. It wasn't a problem for me with my old Arcam integrated's 70 watts but those with lower powered budget amps may find it a bit low level. Other than that, the E3 is terrific and I can't recommend it enough.

    Great moving magnet cartridge!

    What a great moving magnet cartridge for the money! I've been using various Ortofons for the last 45 years! Mainly VMS 20s and 30s. Wanting a change I bought the Golding. Compared with the Ortofon in the same arm (SME detachable) it's brighter and punchy in the bass....none of that slightly relaxed 'comfortable' sound of the Ortofon.

    Excellent sounding cartridge

    Installed this onto a Linn Basik Plus tonearm and Linn Axis turntable. It sounds really good with very good definition. Easy to install as well with captive nuts in the body of the cartridge. Would strongly recommend.
