Stamp arrived in great condition and is as described but NOT because it was well packaged. I expected it to be (at the very least) tucked into a small, sealed plastic bag. Alas, it was simply put in an envelope with a piece of cardboard under it. Seller might want to beef up his packaging technique, especially since this came from Amsterdam to Iowa and floated around in the mailing system nearly 3 weeks (I'm not blaming seller for that).

Seller clearly ''buys in'' - in this case from a retailer (Post Nord sells direct to the public) - and refunds when the retailer is ''out of stock''. Hence the extended delivery time, which should have set bells ringing, but didn't. The problems here are : 1. It was NOT made clear that the seller did not have the item (and therefore I lost time finding a supplier; 2. The mark up on ''cost'' (ie, the price listed by the retailer) was extortionate (ie, as the seller did not have the item in stock)

stamp as described. Poor packaging, Stamp in stiff mount which was part way out of the mailing envelope. Lucky that it arrived undamaged.
