    I must thank the seller for the patience with me. I couldn’t get the scanner to work on the vehicle I intended it for. However it did work on my other vehicle. So I contacted the seller to see if they had any suggestions. In the meantime I had gone off on holidays to where there was no phone reception, so it took me a couple of weeks to respond to the seller. The seller displayed more patience with me than I deserved. To top it off they sent me a new one which seems to have solved my problem.

    Built to last - Worked straight out of the box -no fiddly software or laptop required

    2004 Holden Adventra CX8 (LS1 V8). SRS Airbag and oil pressure sensor faults. Removed both fault codes. In the past I have tried other obd scan tools (cheapest of the cheap dongle types) only to struggle with finding software that worked. This worked for me straight out of the box and only cost as much as someone doing a code reset for me.

    Doesn't always do what it says on the packet

    Well I had high hopes for this device assuming I would be upgrading from a much cheaper unit that does not have the capability for airbag systems. Well I have used this unti three times and have only been successful once. On one occasion it did not read an airbag issue on a Ssangyong Rexton series 2 2010 model and then more worryingly it failed to link with a 2002 pajero diesel on simple code reading !!! I am not very confident of its long term performance and may well send it back. I would not recommend this unti. Regards hobby car mechanic David

    Cheap and good

    This scan tool enabled me to fully bleed the abs module on a kia carnival (vq) saving me a good deal of money. Has a wide range of compatible vehicles and works great. Cant beat it for the price. It can reset ecu fault codes and even graph sensor values such as the O2 sensor for fault diagnosis.

    Disappointed

    Software is all for US based vehicle's, very hard to get to communicate with Aussie brands. Also hard to get the app to work. Will only work on Android phone and NOT android tablet, which I really needed.

    Not as DIY as led to believe.

    Not as simple as led to believe, lot of things don't match up from directions to internet programs, wasn't even allowed to put neutral feedback ,ebay won't let you. Problem finding Australian cars.
