makita built a good tool in this two in one drill and hammer drill combo it is not industrial grade but great commercial quality. handling many projects without toting around a cord especially when there is no power. turning a hole saw large than two inches in 1/8 inch steel materials puts it through the test and it will do it just fine but heavier than that you better let it cool off in between or grab a corded tool. Great for anchoring wedge anchors to 3/8 X 4 inch deep with the BL 1830 battery . Just let it cool down and don't burn it up pushing the motor

Have used these Makita tools for work for the past 5 years. They are excellent tools with a surprising amount of torque. My only complaint with Makita is they use plastic gears, which have a tendency to strip over time. Item was packaged adequately and shipped promptly so would buy again.

I use the hell out of these drills ok I abuses them . I drill 1/2 holes and 4" with hole saw in 1/4" steel building car in my shop . Using it every day I get around 4 years out of them. they do not sit around we run 4 battery's back to back several times a day and the drill just keeps going .
