It is a decent effect pedal, but you need to be aware that like any other pedal, you need to learn how to use it and find the right settings that fit your necessities, also I don't give it 5 stars because in the background you can still hear the Guitar strings,it is definitely nice to have it,but it won't ever replace your Rhodes or dynamo pianos, anyway you can always surprise your fellow musicians when comping some Jazz standards

this is an awful pedal trying to get the sounds similar to those of demo's was nigh on impossible, I finally did dial in some usable sounds on 3 of the 9 settings, when I used it in a band situation they were awful the people I bought it from ( The Mad Ape) kindly allowed me to exchange it for a C9 pedal, which is wonderful and I have many suitable sounds , that are easy to dial in

I use this live to go beyond use of chorus or other effects. The keyboard sounds are absolutely legit but I mostly blend to a unique coloring of the guitar sound. There are levels for both the effects and the raw guitar sound, so easy to blend in the spot. Quality is too notch, which is nice as I don't always get the impression that's the case for most EH pedals. This is high end.

I have only used this pedal with a small amplifier. They say you need a certain amount of volume to really get the sound it produces. I could get an OK organ sound and and OK electric piano. The mallets were good but the rest of the sounds were kind of weak on a small amp---this pedal would be good in a bind but a real synthesizer is much better.

An awesome pedal, multi-faceted, with a ton of options to either double up your guitar sound with keys, or take out the guitar altogether and rip like a keyboard player. Sounds great straight from the box, using the recommended settings, but by spending a little time and experimentation with this unit in collaboration with other effects, you can dial up some amazing sounds. I use a compression pedal just before this unit, just to take some of the swell and varied attack out of my normal guitar playing, and to make the overall attack more even (as with real keys) and it can be incredibly convincing. Not sure how these guys keep pumping out some of these more 'out there' pedals (also check out the B9 and C9 pedals), but I for one, am very glad that they do.
