Good looking light weight watch loaded with useful features. Light color analog dial for easy reading, backlight when you need it. Digital display for time, date, timer, chime, etc. I use it while doing outdoor work. Holding up extremely well.

just purchased watch because I like both analog for time and digital for date but I really wanted backlight feature which is disappointing. if you want or need this feature, spend more money and buy a timex,. has 12 and 24 hour time keeping and databank for phone numbers. as I mentioned in title, do not lose instructions since this does not have a crown to set analog time. hoping battery will last but of course, time will tell

Very legible mixed analog/digital face. Optional back-light for darkness. Overloaded with features. Comfortable contours and plastic band; very light weight. Washes up with soap and water. Slim profile fits under buttoned oxford cuffs. Looks like a watch costing three times as much.

Contrary to posts which say "don't waste your money", with no reason given, I recommend that you do spend your money on this watch. I bought one in 2007 and still wear it every day as my "around the house" watch. Yes, it is worn, mainly the silver on the plastic case. It is probably on it third band. But it still keeps good time, and allows me to also keep track of time in a second time zone, which is important for me. An AW80-1AV with the black dial is my usual watch for going out. An AW80D-1AV with the stainless steel band is my other watch for outside the house. In storage, I have a backup AW-80 with a white dial. I also have a backup AW-80 with a silver dial, a backup AW80-1AV with a black dial, and So I have six of these AW-80 watches. I don't think I wasted my money. Yes, the light could be better. But it works. The only other complaint is having to set DST on or off for all time zones - which does not work well as the other time zone I track does not use DST, whereas my home time zone does. But the alternative, like a bunch of other watches I own, is setting DST for multiple time zones one at a time. Until Casio programs DST into its watches, neither alternative is ideal.Read full review
