When I first started to collected high end watches, I was given three great pieces of advice from an old hand: • Never collect a brand or case; collect a movement. • Always buy a little bit higher than you think you can afford. • Sell the bottom half; keep the top half. The Zenith El Primero 410 movement - chronograph + triple calendar - meets all of these benchmarks, is without any doubt one of the top three out there. Zenith's service, while relatively expensive, is a bargain when you consider the piece of mind it gives you; the price differential is easily made up when it's time to move on. Now that Zenith has been taken over by LVMH, the world leader in the marketing of luxury goods, it has both the capital and technology to be more fully recognized as the premier brand it is. So prices now are still a relative bargain.Read full review

Classic casing, presentation and sizing (39mm) with an exceptionally accurate variant of the El Primero Chrono movement. Mine keeps to within about 15 seconds per week, and can outperform Tourbillons priced much higher. One of the greats, extraordinary value thanks to their popularity over a 10 year+ production run and therefore relatively higher than average production numbers compared to other Zeniths.

I recently purchased one exactly like this. It has so much class and is excellent to have in one's collection. I also have the Rose Gold one and will never part with them now. I had to look around for 6 months to find them in the condition that I wanted.
