The drive, once installed, shows up as 237GB, but drive sizes are always nominal. The installation process is ghastly, but that's not the fault of the kit. iPods are built to stay in one piece. You can find disassembly directions online. I would add a caution that when removing the old battery, be careful not to tear the cable that goes to the hold button and the headphone jack. You may want to run a hair dryer over the battery first, because the cable may be sticking to the battery and some heat might loosen it. I didn't find this hint in any of the videos or documents I looked at, so I broke mine and had to order the part, which you can find in the $20 range. Good luck and happy listening.

Product arrived promptly, well packaged. This was a replacement for the hard drive in my MacBook Air. I had to mount the drive upside down (face side down) for the ZIF ribbon connector to be installed correctly. This was no problem after I figured this out by trial and error. Drive works great and is still running fine. The buyer experience was excellent. I did contact him to let him know of my initial problem so he could respond if he got similar questions.
Installed the drive works properly not a problem as of yet very happy with the product
