The Seiko Prospex PADI Edition solar diving watch is attractive, comfortable, and does just what it's supposed to do. The one-way bezel is easy to set, and a splash of red adds to its modern look. Unfortunately, the pins in the bracelet tend to fall out once the bracelet's length has been adjusted, and they require a drop of glue to remain in place. The "cyclops" window helps magnify the date, but could be a size larger. I've heard others comment that the round enlargement on the second hand would better placed on the second hand's indicator end, as is the case with Rolex, Omega, and some other Seiko diver's watches, but this is a minor point. Overall, this is a great-looking watch at an excellent price, and should serve a diver for a long time following its purchase.

This watch is made in China according to the box it came in also I'm not very impressed with the bracelet. The watch just feels cheap...hard to explain. Compared to my other seiko dive watches this one is very seems adopted....I Don t expect it to work properly for years to come unlike my others...I do use my watches when I dive...hopefully this one will work...

This watch is a good one but there are things you should know. It is a 60 click bezel not 120. Which I don't mind. Compared with ssc019p it is similar but not exactly the same case. It is lighter and thinner. The strap is ok but not as good as the ssc019p. You cannot interchange the strap between these two watches. The solar panel face on the sne435 has 2 seams on it unlike other solar dive watches and you can see it if you loook closely at pics. I oiled my bezel with a dabn of olive oil as it was very stiff. Now is very nice to click and is a good solid bezel. Lume is amazing. Wearing the watch it looks great on and is very functional. I like it more every day. Looks a bit like the Steinhardt due to simple face and bezel and color. Also I think this watch is out of production and new versions that look the same are twice the money at least. Get it while you still can. Read full review

Got this “New-Other” Seiko PADI Solar Prospex watch for about 1/3 of the retail price. The watch looks great and keeps accurate time. So far it is keeping up with my Casio Atomic Solar watch. It is my new “go to” daily watch when more formal occasions do not require a Rolex, Zenith or Omega. This solar watch beats these expensive automatic watches hands down in terms of time-keeping accuracy and practicality. When sizing the metal bracelet, make sure you do not lose that small part that is found inside the hole of the middle portion of each link, which keeps the pin securely in place, so you do not have to use locktite or liquid glue to keep the pin intact. A great watch at a great price, which I would recommend to any watch enthusiast.

I honestly don't know how Seiko makes such great watches for the money. The PADI Diver is the latest to my collection. I am still partial to Automatic movements, but I wanted to try the solar powered model. It is extremely accurate. Keeps perfect time. The red accents are a stylish contrast against the blue dial. The cyclops magnifier seems a little small and does not magnify the date too well, but not a big deal for me. The bracelet is the weak link (wasn't happy to see made in China stamped on it), but it does the job. Cant expect more for the price. Overall, an excellent every day watch. If you like the diver style watches, then I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up.

I didn't like it at first because I had trouble size in it the links would only come out half way and I couldn't pull them out the rest of the way even with needle nose pliers so I put a different band on it the watch is great running terrific I don't think it lost a second in over a week I'm glad I have it because I don't think there going to make it a long time I was wondering why I didn't get a manual and a warranty card and a receipt with the watch it is a great watch perfect size

Watch has a nice blue dial with a high lighted red hour hand that enhances the look of the timepiece on the wrist. It keeps time very well and accurate to the second. The timepiece is not bulky or heavy making it extremely comfortable to wear. It's an outstanding purchase and I plan to get many years of use from it. it appears very sturdy and durable.

Purchased this for my brother's birthday. He absolutely loved it and has recieved so many compliments on it in just a few days of wearing it. He also loved it so much he purchased the one with the orange dial. It is just a gorgeous watch and pictures don't do it justice. It looks incredible in person and is very comfortable to wear. I am planning on purchasing one for me.

great looking watch, it hits way above it's weight class. For the money, you couldn't get a better stainless steel watch. The lume is bright even in low light situations, and better in dark settings. The blue stands out and is eye catching. I get compliments each time I wear it out.

Bought this in Dec 18.I have a small wrist, but this looks good and feels weighty and solid. After 3 months use,I'm very pleased with it.I love the lumibrite feature.Although having been a diver for 20 years,I have to say it's far too nicer piece of kit to take diving and risk scratching it on rock or coral.
