First off I'm an "air" diver or "desk diver" - I'm a really big fan of the SKX series of watches, so there's not much to yack about, Stainless Steel case, slim profile, die hard 7S26 movement, 30 hour reserve when fully wound - via automatic movement, easy to read, only thing I would have changed on the entire series would have had "hacking" as a feature. Love the crown at 4, always have. I go back as far as the 6309 Series with Seiko Divers and I still have them. Wore a plain vanilla Seiko Quartz before becoming a former Omega Moonwatch owner (Omega's require service - lot's of it) and a Colt Brietling (lost that in motorcycle crash) - the Seiko SKX series is SOLID and inexpensive - I always buy Made in Japan iterations of any Seiko I can - I have never bought a "K" yet. Great watch - loads of fun things to mod the watch with and almost every watchmaker works on them.Read full review

Hard to keep running even with a watch winder Should have gotten fro an authorized dealer Not sure if there was any eBay warranty Think it ran out while I was in the hospital Got a different band and really like it’s looks so I’ll just shake it enough to start up, set it for special occasions.

No question about it, Seiko Automatic Divers have a long and distinguished history. You will not be disappointed: great style, comfortable, outstanding build quality, accurate (remember these are 21 jewel mechanical movements, and not quartz). Of course, the price is very reasonable. Some Seiko divers are make in Malaysia and possibly elsewhere. These are excellent. I especially recommend those made in Japan. A little more money, but just a little better, too.

I have several orange monsters and I was concerned the 011j would not fit in my collection. I was pleasantly surprised by the color of the dial and bezel. the gold accents really made it pop.the watch is a typical seiko, but the indices/dial arrangement are spot on. everything is aligned properly and the movement seems to be working ok.

Orange SKX is the best for Halloween season has a different look than the 007&009 & If you actually dive deep af the dial is supposed to turn gray I haven't confirmed this but it sounds rad If you're a serious seiko fan it's one for the collection highly recommend
