    For water changes in the aquarium

    I use this to change out the water in the aquarium. It is simple, quiet and fairly easy to make 15 gallon routine water changes. Drop in the aquarium, plug in, pump into 5 gallon buckets. Drop in clean water container and refill. Much less messy.

    Nice pump, a bit too powerful for my application

    Good reliable pump. it is a bit too powerful for my 12" tall water fountain so I cut down the flow rate by paper-clipping the supply tube. This restricted the flow enough so it would not spill out of the fountain.
