    EMPI is a leader in VW parts. But they blew it on this part application. Can’t find a filter that fits. The PH 561 that they say works conflicted with my heat riser. They suggest buying a new exhaust. How about selling a filter that fit with a stock VW bug exhaust.

    Pease of mind product

    Been using these full flows for years. Oil screen is fine but you can't go wrong with extra filtering. These pumps work well and are cheap insurance for everyday stockers. Just make sure the oil passages line up ok on pump and block.

    It is a great product except my stock VW...

    It is a great product except my stock VW exhaust but the PH 561 oil filter conflicts with my heat riser. So far no one has a filter that fits. They say put on a new exhaust that has the heat riser on the passenger side. I am very disappointed a pointed so far.

    Went in with a bit of work, will need a oil pump Fuller and loose front case bolts. Not for many amateurs.
